Dr. Ramadan Abdul-Rashid is the founder, CEO, and CTO of YiwSAMA Technologies, a Ghanaian startup developing enterprise SaaS platforms for agriculture, healthcare, and e-commerce. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Embedded Systems Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia and brings over a decade of diverse engineering experience.
His career spans early project engineering at American Tower Ghana, research at KFUPM, and nearly eight years at ROSEN's global R&D centres from Saudi Arabia to Germany. At ROSEN, he progressed from R&D Engineer to Data Scientist, specialising in deep learning models for pipeline inspection, digital signal processing, and production-grade AI integrated with big data and high-performance computing pipelines.
He actively works with agentic AI, computer vision, and large-scale heterogeneous data processing. A U.S. patent holder for an energy-efficient wireless sensor network protocol, he is also engaged with AI ethics and emerging technology research.
